Islamabad Police Apprehend Two Suspected Thieves, Recover Stolen Goods

Islamabad: Two alleged members of a theft ring have been apprehended by Islamabad police, and recovered stolen items include mobile phones, cash, and weapons. The arrests follow a targeted operation based on intelligence gathering, part of a broader crackdown on criminal activity in the capital ordered by the Inspector General of Police.

The suspects, identified as Qasim Nawaz and Nasir Iqbal, are believed to be part of an organized group responsible for numerous thefts. Police have initiated legal action and are conducting a thorough investigation.

SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan emphasized the police department’s commitment to public safety and vowed to prevent criminals from disrupting the peace. He encouraged community members to report suspicious behavior or items to their local police stations or the Pucar-15 emergency hotline.
