Islamabad, A significant breakthrough was achieved by the Islamabad Capital Police Karachi Company team with the arrest of a wanted member of a notorious bike lifter gang, leading to the recovery of six stolen motorbikes. This development aligns with the intensified crackdown on criminal elements in the city.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, was conducted following the specific directives of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan. The crackdown aimed to enhance the safety and security of citizens’ lives and properties. The Karachi Company police team, leveraging both technical resources and human intelligence, successfully apprehended the suspect, identified as Zahir Ullah, who was a known former jailbird and implicated in multiple bike thefts across the twin cities.
Upon his arrest, the police recovered six stolen motorbikes in his possession. Cases against Zahir Ullah have been registered, and further investigations are ongoing to uncover additional aspects of the bike lifting activities and possibly identify other members of the gang.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has reiterated his directive to all senior officials for an effective and continued crackdown against individuals involved in criminal activities.
