Islamabad: Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan Pledges Transparency in Privatization Efforts


Islamabad: Abdul Aleem Khan, Pakistan’s Minister for Privatization, has committed to upholding transparency in the privatization processes of state institutions, aiming to alleviate the financial burden on the national exchequer by divesting from loss-making entities.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a recent session of the Privatization Commission Board in Islamabad, Minister Khan emphasized the necessity of privatizing struggling institutions as a measure of fiscal responsibility and national interest.



The meeting saw agreements on key procedural elements, including the appointment of financial advisers to guide the privatization efforts. These advisers will be instrumental in ensuring that the privatization processes are carried out efficiently and transparently, reflecting the government’s commitment to reform and economic efficiency.
