Islamabad, November 7, 2023: Pakistan has dispatched its second consignment of humanitarian aid for the people of occupied Gaza, as reported by the Ministry of Information Broadcasting & National Heritage. The shipment was sent via a special flight from Islamabad.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, present during the dispatch, explained that the consignment, including ration bags, medicines, and hygiene kits, was sent under the direction of the Prime Minister and facilitated by the National Disaster Management Authority. This 90-ton shipment symbolizes Pakistan’s solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Jilani emphasized Pakistan’s distress over the ongoing violence in Gaza and reiterated the nation’s call for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al Sharif as its capital. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and stressed the need for an immediate end to Israeli aggression and the lifting of the Gaza siege.
Caretaker Minister for Human Rights George Khalil also spoke at the event, urging the international community to intervene and halt the violence in Gaza.
