Islamabad Commemorates TeH Founding with Tributes to Gilani and Sehrai


Islamabad: On the founding day of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, a significant seminar was held in Islamabad to honor the contributions of its founders, Syed Ali Gilani and Muhammad Ashraf Sahrai, who have played pivotal roles in the region’s freedom struggle.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the event was marked by heartfelt tributes to these leaders. The seminar was chaired by Ghulam Muhammad Safi, the convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter, and featured Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan, Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as the chief guest.



Dr. Mushtaq highlighted the enduring impact of Gilani and Sehrai’s dedication to the Kashmiri cause, noting their roles as inspirational figures in the ongoing struggle for freedom. The assembly also paid respects to the martyrs of Kashmir and voiced strong calls for the release of all detained Hurriyat leaders, activists, and youths held in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of India.



The seminar was attended by numerous leaders and advocates for the Kashmiri cause, including Mehmood Ahmad Sagar, Advocate Pervez Ahmed, and many others who reiterated their commitment to the movement and its objectives.
