Islamabad, The Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has initiated the “Knock the Door” campaign, aimed at registering the data of tenants and domestic workers in Islamabad. This campaign is part of the efforts to enhance law and order in the federal capital by keeping a close watch on miscreants and preventing suspicious activities.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, teams are actively visiting neighborhoods to register tenant and domestic worker data. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Islamabad has already registered information on 286 house servants in 459 houses within the Bara Kahu Police Station jurisdiction. The campaign also involves engaging with citizens to understand and address their concerns.
The police have emphasized the importance of this initiative in preventing incidents like theft and robbery by unregistered individuals impersonating common citizens. Citizens are encouraged to verify the identity of individuals collecting data, especially those in civilian clothes. This proactive approach by the Islamabad Capital Police aims to create a safer environment for all residents in the capital.
