Islamabad, In response to the directives of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police have intensified their security measures in the high-security zone, particularly during the hearings of significant cases in superior courts.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the teams deployed in the high-security zone are working diligently to ensure effective security during these crucial court hearings. Senior police officers have instructed officers and personnel on duty to prioritize the security of important government offices, superior courts, and embassies located within the zone.
The directives emphasize the need for officers and personnel to perform their duties with the utmost dedication, leaving no room for negligence or complacency. This heightened security stance reflects the Islamabad Capital Police’s commitment to maintaining peace and security in the area, especially during sensitive legal proceedings.
Additionally, the police force is taking all necessary steps to protect the lives and property of citizens. Any disturbance to public peace is declared intolerable, and the police are on high alert to prevent any potential security threats.
The public is also encouraged to play a role in maintaining security. Citizens are urged to cooperate with the police and to report any suspicious activities or objects either to their local police station or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” or the “ICT-15” application. This collaborative approach between the police and the community is crucial for ensuring a safe and secure environment in the high-security zone of Islamabad.
