Islamabad, Following directives from Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police are dedicated to maintaining law and order in the federal capital. Special attention is being given to the security of the high-security zone, which includes key government and private establishments, diplomatic missions, and other vital assets.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, personnel at various security checkpoints are diligently executing their responsibilities. They are meticulously verifying individuals’ particulars and documenting vehicle information to ensure the security of the high-security zone.

The measures include a mandate for government personnel to display their departmental identification cards upon entering the zone. Private individuals conducting business in the area are also urged to carry necessary documentation and cooperate with on-duty personnel.

Senior officers have directed the security staff to maintain high standards of diligence and professionalism and build positive rapport with citizens. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals to the helpline “Pukar-15” immediately.
