Islamabad Capital Police Enhances Communication Capabilities with INL-Sponsored Training

Islamabad, A ceremony was held at the Police Lines Headquarters Islamabad to distribute certificates to the participants of a wireless training program, an initiative aimed at bolstering the skills of the Islamabad Capital Police wireless staff in maintaining and repairing essential communication equipment.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the program was instituted following directives from ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan and was conducted in cooperation with the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). The program’s objective is to prepare the wireless staff of the Islamabad Capital Police for better maintenance and functionality of basic wireless communication tools.

The certificate distribution event was attended by dignitaries including the CPO Safe City/Traffic, DSP Telecommunication, INL program officers, field engineers, and the training participants. The officers who completed the program were awarded certificates by the INL representatives and CPO Safe City/Traffic, who expressed positive views on the potential benefits of such training endeavors.

In the course of the ceremony, CPO Safe City/Traffic lauded the joint effort between INL and Islamabad Capital Police. He underscored the significance of the training in creating a more effective communication network within the police services. Acknowledging the support of INL, an honorary shield was presented to the INL team, signifying appreciation for their collaborative efforts.

The ceremony concluded with recognition of the dedicated efforts of the Islamabad Capital Police officers who successfully completed the training, highlighting the continuous pursuit of professional development within the force.
