Islamabad Capital Police Detain 25 Outlaws Including 12 Professional Beggars

Islamabad, A notable surge in apprehensions was reported as the Islamabad Capital Police captured 25 individuals involved in various illegal activities within the last day, including 12 individuals identified as professional beggars. According to a statement by a public relations officer, items retrieved from the detained individuals comprise narcotics, liquor, and an array of weaponry.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, Upon the specialized guidance of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has amplified its operations against unlawful activities with a core objective of eradicating crime within the city. During these operations, individuals arrested from multiple city locations were found in possession of an assortment of contraband and weapons. Police records have indicated specific arrests, including Tanveer Abbas from the Secretariat, who was found with a 30 bore pistol, and Jabbar Ali from Sumbal, who was in possession of 350 grams of heroin, among others.

Furthermore, in tandem with the current operation against professional begging, the city police have made 12 arrests and initiated legal proceedings under the relevant laws. ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, emphasizing the significance of public safety, underscored that the enforcement teams are to maintain strict diligence in their operations.
