Islamabad Capital Police Chief Prioritizes Citizen Safety and Dispute Resolution in Meeting with Kohsar ADR Members

Islamabad, In a recent high-level meeting, Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), convened with members of the Kohsar Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) at the Central Police Office in Islamabad. This gathering included key discussions on enhancing citizen issue resolutions and the efficiency of the ADR center.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting had significant attendance including the District Police Officer (DPO) City Zone and the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Kohsar. Dr. Khan engaged with the ADR members to explore more effective approaches for resolving citizen disputes. They reviewed the operational aspects of the center, focusing on quick and merit-based resolutions for a range of issues encompassing domestic, business, and other diverse problems faced by the citizens.

The ADR members took this opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of the Islamabad Capital Police in maintaining law and order. They praised the police force’s efforts in safeguarding the lives and properties of citizens, particularly highlighting the role played in protecting business establishments and maintaining routine life through community policing strategies.

Dr. Khan issued directives to the officers of the Islamabad Capital Police to prioritize individuals suffering from mental health issues, ensuring their well-being and the safety of public recreational spaces. He also ordered the implementation of effective parking and security measures at Sunday markets and shopping centers to bolster the safety and security of the public.
