Islamabad, In recognition of International Women’s Day, the Islamabad Capital Police has released a special video to celebrate the contributions and dedication of its women officers and personnel. This initiative, directed by Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, aims to highlight the vital role that female members play within the force.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the commendation extends to women officers and officials who are rigorously executing their responsibilities, working in tandem with their male counterparts to ensure the safety and security of the public. These women excel in various capacities within the department, significantly aiding in crime prevention and public safety efforts.

Their involvement is crucial in reinforcing the police force’s efforts across all facets of law enforcement. Senior officials within the Islamabad Capital Police have reiterated their commitment to fostering a conducive work environment for women, enabling them to perform their duties efficiently and professionally.

Lahore, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamiana, has publicly lauded the women serving in the Lahore Police for their critical contributions to the enforcement of law and establishment of public peace. His commendations were made in a statement released today, in honor of International Women’s Day.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the CCPO highlighted the significant role of women officers within the department. He acknowledged that women are not only performing commendably alongside their male counterparts in various wings of the Lahore Police but have also showcased their abilities through hard work and dedication, both day and night.



Kamiana stressed the department’s zero-tolerance policy towards incidents of violence and harassment against women and children, affirming the commitment of the Lahore Police to protect the legal rights of women from all communities, including minorities. He further announced the introduction of the “Never Again” app, aimed at enhancing women’s safety, alongside other initiatives like the Women Safety App, Helpline 1242, and the Anti-Women Harassment and Violence Cell, which are designed to ensure effective protection for women.
