According to Islamabad Capital Police, this initiative is part of a broader effort to leverage advanced surveillance and monitoring technologies to protect the life and property of Islamabad’s citizens. The Safe City Command and Control Center, equipped with state-of-the-art software including E-Challan, effective traffic management systems, data analytics, facial recognition for criminals, automatic number plate readers (ANPR), and the Hotel Eye software, plays a pivotal role in these operations. The Hotel Eye software, in particular, is designed to monitor individuals staying in hotels, hostels, and shelter homes throughout Islamabad.
