Islamabad, In a significant sweep, the Islamabad Capital Police arrested 10 outlaws and recovered stolen goods, drugs, and weapons from various city areas over the last 24 hours.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the Islamabad Capital Police have intensified their efforts to root out criminal activity in the city. The operations led to the apprehension of multiple individuals and the seizure of illegal substances and firearms.
Among the arrested were individuals found in possession of alcohol, narcotics including heroin and hashish, and illegal firearms ranging from pistols to rifles. The police teams from different stations across Islamabad participated in this crackdown, resulting in the recovery of stolen valuables worth hundreds of thousands.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has called for an increased crackdown on criminal elements to ensure the safety and security of citizens, affirming that maintaining public safety is the top priority and that no negligence in this endeavor will be tolerated. Cases have been registered against the accused, and investigations are ongoing to uncover any further illicit activities they may be involved in.
