Islamabad, 12 Oct 2023:In a successful operation, the Islamabad Capital Police’s Industrial Area station has arrested Hasnain, a wanted member of a gang implicated in multiple thefts, and recovered Rs 5 lac in stolen cash, according to a statement released by a public relations officer. The arrest is part of a rigorous crackdown on criminal elements across the city, guided by the directives of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, as police intensify their efforts to eradicate criminal activities and uphold the safety and security of the citizens and their properties in the region.

The Industrial Area police team, utilizing both technical and human resources, executed the apprehension and recovery operation following Khan’s stern directives for an amplified crackdown on entities involved in theft and other criminal activities. Hasnain, the arrested individual, was already under the purview of a case, and further investigations concerning his activities and potential connections are currently in progress.

Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has directed all senior officials to fortify their crackdown against individuals involved in theft activities, emphasizing that the safeguarding of citizens’ lives and property remains a prime responsibility of the force. He asserted that no lapse in maintaining vigilance and efficacy in these operations will be tolerated, underlining a commitment to maintaining public safety and security.
