Islamabad Calls for International Youth Collaboration to Tackle Climate Crisis


Islamabad: In a clarion call for global cooperation, Romina Khurshid Alam, the Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change, highlighted the urgent need for international youth collaboration to address the growing climate challenges.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a conference held in Islamabad today, Alam urged the world’s youth to unite in their efforts for effective disaster risk management. She praised the resilience of the Pakistani people in facing environmental challenges and emphasized the pivotal role of global partnerships in this fight.



Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, also spoke at the event, detailing initiatives under the Green Youth Movement. He announced plans to train two hundred thousand young individuals in disaster risk management, underscoring the commitment to involving youth in environmental protection efforts.
