Islamabad, Ahsan Bakhtawari, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), has expressed his support for the Finance Minister and the economic team following the achievement of a staff-level agreement with the IMF on the first review.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Bakhtawari praised the decision to maintain the current tax target and highlighted the Federal Board of Revenue’s record tax collection in the first quarter of the current fiscal year. The ICCI President emphasized that the business community is united with the government in addressing the ongoing economic crisis, signaling strong private sector backing for the government’s economic policies and initiatives.
