Islamabad, The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has sanctioned a significant initiative for the advancement of education in Pakistan. The CDWP, meeting in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan, approved the Capacity Building of Education Managers project, allocating a budget of 45.69 million rupees.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the decision was made in a session that also saw the CDWP refer three substantial projects, collectively valued at over 358 billion rupees, to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for further evaluation and consideration.
This approval marks a crucial step in enhancing the educational sector’s managerial capabilities, reflecting the government’s commitment to strengthening education in Pakistan. The allocation of funds is expected to facilitate the development of skills and competencies among education managers, ultimately contributing to the improvement of educational standards and practices across the country.
The referral of the three additional projects to the ECNEC highlights the CDWP’s role in scrutinizing and forwarding large-scale developmental initiatives for more comprehensive evaluation. This process ensures that projects of national importance receive the necessary attention and resources for their successful implementation.
The outcomes of these projects, once fully realized, are anticipated to have a significant impact on various sectors of Pakistan’s economy and infrastructure, driving forward national development and progress.
