Islamabad, February 02, 2023 (PPI-OT):Minister of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Mufti Abdul Shakoor says people of all religions have equal rights in Islam and under constitution of Pakistan. Talking to a delegation, led by Bishop of Europe, Robert Neil Anas in Islamabad, he said there is no room for coercion in Islam.

The Minister said Pakistani scholars have unanimous view that terrorism is forbidden and has nothing to do with Islam. He said “Paigham-e-Pakistan is a unique document signed by thousands of local and international scholars in this regard.

The Bishop of Europe expressed his heartfelt regret and sorrow over the Peshawar tragedy and offered condolences to families of martyrs. He also condemned the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden and said such incidents cannot be tolerated as they hurt religious sentiments of all Muslims.
