Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level committee meeting today to evaluate the preparations for the upcoming SCO Council of Heads of Government meeting, scheduled for October in Islamabad.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the committee focused on assessing needs and directing relevant authorities to ensure arrangements align with SCO practices, Pakistan’s international standing, and the nation’s traditional hospitality. During the meeting, Dar emphasized the importance of maintaining the momentum in preparations.
The members of the committee expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the preparations, underscoring their commitment to showcasing Pakistan’s readiness to host this significant international event.
