Ishaq Dar Advocates for Israeli Withdrawal from Occupied Arab Lands

Istanbul, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has called for Israel’s total withdrawal from all occupied Arab territories, advocating for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with pre-1967 borders and Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during the Extraordinary Meeting of the D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers, Dar emphasized the urgency of restoring the Palestinian people’s inalienable rights, including their right to return. He urged the international community to enforce the International Court of Justice’s directive for Israel to cease its military activities in Gaza immediately.

Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, conditioned on the resolution of all Arab-Israeli disputes and the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state. He criticized the global silence on the Palestinians’ suffering and called for a united stance against Israeli actions in the region.

The meeting highlighted the need for immediate international intervention to stop Israeli aggression and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Dar stressed that the gathering of the eight significant Muslim nations should strongly back the Palestinian cause and spearhead efforts for peace and stability in the region.
