Iranian Interior Minister Meets Pakistani Defense Chief to Discuss Regional Security


RAWALPINDI: The Iranian Interior Minister, Eskandar Momeni, met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, in Rawalpindi to discuss regional and bilateral security issues, as well as effective border management. The discussions emphasized mutual interests between the two nations.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Iranian Interior Minister expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in easing regional tensions and promoting peace. The meeting underscored the importance of maintaining close coordination and cooperative mechanisms to ensure regional security and mutual prosperity. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to fostering strong bilateral ties and enhancing collaborative efforts for regional stability.
