Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Iran, welcomed a delegation from the Iran Union of Automobile Spare Parts Manufacturers and Sellers at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tehran. The delegation’s visit aligns with their participation in the upcoming “Pakistan Auto Show 2023” in Karachi.
According to a news release by the Press International Department, Tehran, a 22-member team from the Union is currently on its first-ever official trip to Pakistan, representing the auto parts sector from Iran. The Chairman of the Union, Syed Ahmed Hosseini, conveyed his appreciation to the Ambassador, emphasizing the significance of this landmark trip for enhancing private sector collaboration between the two nations.
Set to partake in the “Pakistan Auto Show 2023” from 27th to 29th October, the delegation’s agenda is further underlined by the Ambassador’s briefing on Pakistan’s favorable investment environment. He encouraged the delegates to contemplate forming joint-ventures with their Pakistani counterparts. Optimism ran high as the Ambassador expressed his anticipation for the visit’s potential outcomes: a surge in Pakistani auto parts exports to Iran, affordable import alternatives from Iran, and the establishment of joint ventures centered on technology transfer. To ensure the delegation’s inaugural trip to Pakistan is both rewarding and fruitful, the Ambassador guaranteed the embassy’s full backing.
