Islamabad: The Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam, met with Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial, the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), today at FBR headquarters. The meeting focused on enhancing the bilateral trade between the two countries by addressing customs and cross-border trade management issues.
According to Press Information Department, the discussion between Ambassador Moghaddam and Chairman Langrial centered on various challenges facing trade between Iran and Pakistan. Both sides expressed their commitment to removing these obstacles to fully harness the economic potential of their relationship. To this end, they agreed to establish a sub-committee dedicated to resolving customs-related issues and ensuring a smoother bilateral trade flow.
The formation of this sub-committee marks a significant step towards improving economic ties between Iran and Pakistan, reflecting a mutual interest in fostering increased economic activity through more efficient and effective trade management.
