Islamabad, August 09, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has vowed to raise the deteriorating situation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir at international forums.
This was stated by Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organisation and wife of jailed Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Yasin Malik, who presided over a very important session followed by questions and answers with the commissioners of OIC’ IPHRC at Foreign Office in Islamabad.
She said that the visiting delegates expressed complete sympathy and solidarity with the Kashmiris and especially the illegal detention as well as the deteriorating condition of Yasin Malik. Mushaal informed the delegates in a session about the ground situation of IIOJK. She said, dwellers of the scenic valley are passing through immense hardships and persecution under the continued military siege after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A.
The Modi regime is hell-bent to end the identity of the Muslims and change the demography in Kashmir to materialize the nefarious design to prolong the brutal occupation of the valley, she deplored. She said, Kashmir has been converted into the world’s biggest jail where a reign of terror is being unleashed by Indian forces but the world is yet to take notice of this human catastrophe.
She also shared the illegal detention of her husband, Yasin Malik and requested the delegates to start a campaign to release him along with other illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists. Mushaal also appealed the delegation to raise voice for Kashmiris under Indian occupation as the UN bodies and the international community kept mum on the fast deteriorating situation in IIOJK.
