Karachi: Investor confidence in Pakistan is on the rise, bolstered by the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, leading to an uptick in the investment environment. In the first eight months of the current fiscal year, foreign investors experienced a 10.52 percent increase in profits and dividends, totaling $1.73 billion, compared to the previous year.
According to Radio Pakistan, Finance Minister’s Advisor Khurram Schehzad cited an independent survey revealing that confidence among foreign investors in Pakistan has grown. Two years ago, 60 percent of investors viewed the country as a favorable destination for investment; this figure has now risen to 75 percent.
