Jammu, January 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has expressed serious concern over the malicious campaign launched by some vested interests to defame the teaching community in the territory.
The EJAC President and the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum Chairman, Mohammad Rafique Rathar, addressing a press conference in Jammu said that intimidation and humiliation of the government employees was not acceptable.
Mohammad Rafique Rathar, flanked by senior leaders of EJAC from Jammu as well as Kashmir Valley, gave a detailed description of his recent meeting with Commissioner/Secretary School Education and other officials of the department regarding the recent termination orders from the department.
He highlighted the issues of employees of the Department of Education which impede the smooth functioning and sought urgent solution of all issues which he described as legitimate and justified.
The EJAC President lashed out at some vested interests, who in the garb of so-called “deadwood” have launched a malicious campaign against the teaching community of Kashmir to tarnish their image and reputation as well as contribution.
Rathar expressed serious concern over the way ground officers have misinterpreted the order and have started intimidating and humiliating teachers on one pretext or the other and in some cases teachers are being threatened of termination on personal liking and disliking.
