Jaipur, May 12, 2022 (PPI-OT):Tension gripped after Block President of Hindutva Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Satveer Saharan and several got injured in a clash over the removal of people of a particular community sitting in front of the temple in Indian state Rajasthan. An angry crowd gathered on the spot and blocked the Nohar-Rawtsar road in Nohar area of Hanumangarh district of the state.
So far, at least 35 people have been arrested. When a significant number of Hindutva VHP activists led by block president Satveer Saharan gathered in the area, members of a community sitting outside a tea stand closer to a temple, which led to clashes between the two parties.
“At least six people were hurt, including Satveer Saharan, and the situation escalated into a violent brawl,” a senior police official added. Following the event, a big crowd gathered at the scene, blocking the Nohar-Rawtsar route.
A large number of police personnel have been deployed in the area with police and district administration officials maintaining a strict vigil on the people.
Rajasthan remains on boil as violent incidents, one after another, continue to hit the state.

New Delhi, May 12 (KMS): The Hindu organization Seemant Lok Sangathan (SLS) that advocates the rights of Pakistani Hindu who migrated to India said that about 800 Pakistani Hindus living Rajasthan state left India in 2021 after they could not get citizenship.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian newspaper, The Hindu which first reported this story has said that after not seeing any progress in their citizenship applications, many of these migrant Hindus returned to Pakistan. These figures are for the year 2021.
The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs started the online process of citizenship application in 2018 and entrusted 16 district collectors in seven states to accept online applications for granting citizenship to Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains and Buddhists from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
In May 2021, the Ministry empowered 13 other district authorities in its Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab to issue citizenship certificates to migrants from six communities barring Muslims under sections 5 and 6 of the Citizenship Act, 1955. As per the newspaper, there are 25,000 Pakistani Hindus in Rajasthan alone who are waiting to get citizenship.
