KARACHI, The Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi marked the beginning of the four-day International Nautical Competition today.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Commandant Pakistan Naval Academy, Commodore Muhammad Khalid, inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest. The competition will witness participation from teams across several countries, including Azerbaijan, China, Indonesia, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Turkiye. Attendees can expect a series of challenges, ranging from sailing and swimming to lifesaving skills and seamanship contests. This year’s event continues the tradition established by the Pakistan Navy, which has been organizing the International Nautical Competition every two years since 2015. The competition’s primary objective is to foster goodwill among participating nations, enabling them to cultivate values such as resilience, teamwork, honour, character, kindness, and respect.
