International Expo to Launch in Lahore with 860 Global Delegates

Lahore: The Health, Engineering and Mineral Show (HEMS) is set to begin at the Lahore Expo Centre, with participation from over 860 foreign delegates from across the globe. Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan announced the event, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, and the provincial government.

The expo has been successfully arranged in just one month, marking a significant achievement for Pakistan. HEMS is part of a series of sector-specific trade exhibitions previously held in the country, including those focused on food and textiles.

Minister Khan emphasized the expo as a step toward restoring investor confidence in Pakistan. He pointed to rising remittances, stock market growth, declining inflation, and decreasing policy rates as factors drawing international interest.

Delegates from Europe, China, Africa, the United States, and the Middle East will explore investment opportunities in Pakistan’s mineral, engineering, fashion, and other industrial sectors. The event aims to foster business engagements, encourage partnerships, and unlock export opportunities.

The local business community is actively participating, showcasing products and technologies through pavilions that highlight Pakistan’s export strength. Minister Jam Kamal noted that global challenges are creating new opportunities for Pakistan, and events like HEMS demonstrate the country’s resilience and readiness.

“This is more than an exhibition; it’s a symbol of Pakistan’s growing international trust and economic potential,” Khan stated.
