Interior Minister Vows Strict Law Enforcement Amid Planned Protests in Islamabad

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has firmly stated that no one will be permitted to break the law or damage property during the anticipated protests in the capital. His comments came during a media briefing where he addressed concerns about a planned political march on Islamabad.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Interior Minister expressed the government’s readiness to secure the city, especially foreign guests, amidst the potential for unrest. He highlighted that the federal government has implemented comprehensive measures to maintain order and safety.

Minister Naqvi also questioned the motivations behind the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s decision to organize the protest, hinting at external influences. He acknowledged the disruption that such events cause for the residents of Islamabad and expressed regret for any inconvenience.
