Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a surprise visit to the 24/7 NADRA Mega Center in Blue Area, Islamabad, to review the facilities provided to citizens. The minister’s visit aimed to ensure efficient service delivery and gather feedback from the public.
During his inspection, Naqvi engaged with citizens processing their CNICs and other documents. The visitors expressed satisfaction, noting reduced waiting times and improved staff cooperation. They attributed these improvements to the minister’s personal involvement in enhancing service quality.
Naqvi commended the shift in-charge and staff for their dedication and acknowledged the efforts of NADRA Chairman Lt. General Muhammad Munir Afsar and his team. He explored the waiting area and service counters, addressing citizens’ concerns and issuing immediate instructions for resolving CNIC-related issues.
The minister also tested a modern self-service machine, using fingerprint verification to experience the automated system. He praised the absence of queues, emphasizing the government’s commitment to facilitating citizens’ needs efficiently. Naqvi assured continued government efforts to enhance service delivery across all levels.
