Interior Minister Visits Injured Drone Attack Victim at Hospital


Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi to check on Tauqeer Abbas, who was injured in an Indian drone attack near Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Abbas is the cousin of Ali Haider, who died in the attack and was the only brother of eight sisters. During his visit, Naqvi praised Abbas for his resilience and courage.



Naqvi discussed Abbas’s treatment with doctors and instructed them to provide the best possible care, especially for his injured eye. He emphasized the government’s commitment to making every effort to save Abbas’s eye and offered a prayer for his recovery.



The Interior Minister highlighted the sacrifices of martyrs, stating they have been pivotal in leading the nation to victory. Ali Haider, along with his cousins Tauqeer Abbas and Manzoor Faisal, used to sell food outside the cricket stadium to support their families.
