Interior Minister Visits Chinese Embassy to Mourn Victims of Karachi Blast


Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad on Monday, where he expressed condolences over the deaths of two Chinese nationals in a recent blast in Karachi. The minister met with Jiang Zaidong, the Ambassador of China to Pakistan, to convey his sorrow and discuss the ongoing investigation into the incident.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his meeting, Naqvi detailed the progress of the investigation into the Karachi blast and reassured the ambassador of Pakistan’s commitment to the security of Chinese nationals working in the country. He emphasized that the Pakistani nation stands with China in this time of loss.



The Interior Minister declared that the perpetrators behind this tragic event would be held accountable and justice would be served. He further highlighted the importance of the security of Chinese citizens in Pakistan, labeling it a top government priority.



Naqvi also characterized the fatal incident as an attack on the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and China, stating that such acts aimed at undermining their friendship would not be tolerated.
