Interior Minister Naqvi Lauds US Support in Strengthening Pakistani Law Enforcement


Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed gratitude for the United States’ support in boosting the capabilities of Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies. The appreciation came during a meeting with a delegation from the US Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) held in Islamabad.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Naqvi underscored the vital role of the INL’s cooperation in enhancing the operational skills of Pakistan’s police and paramilitary forces. He highlighted ongoing efforts to modernize key institutions such as the National Police Academy and the Frontier Constabulary to better tackle current security challenges.



The Minister also noted that the Anti-Narcotics Force is intensifying its campaigns to combat drug trafficking across the country. In response, US Deputy Ambassador Natalie Baker, who headed the delegation, reiterated the importance of Pakistan’s security stability to the United States, affirming continued support in these endeavors.
