Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned a recent terrorist attack aimed at Bannu Cantonment and lauded the security forces for their successful intervention. In a statement released following the incident, Naqvi paid tribute to the eight security personnel who lost their lives, offering condolences to their families and commending the forces for their bravery and effectiveness in preventing a major threat.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Naqvi expressed profound respect and gratitude towards the security forces, acknowledging their critical role in safeguarding the nation. “The brave sons of soil have thwarted a major terrorist plot, and the security forces have defeated the enemy’s nefarious designs,” he stated, affirming that the sacrifices of the martyred personnel would forever be honored and remembered. Naqvi also highlighted the continued threats posed by enemies seeking to destabilize Pakistan but reassured that unity and solidarity would be pivotal in overcoming the menace of terrorism. He concluded by praying for the quick recovery of those injured during the attack.
