Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has committed to decisive action against individuals who recently clashed with security forces, emphasizing a vigilant and robust response by law enforcement agencies. According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a media briefing with IG Punjab Usman Anwar at D-Chowk, Naqvi detailed the arrests of 564 persons involved in the disturbances, including 120 Afghan nationals and 11 members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. He asserted that the government will proceed without bias in addressing these disruptions. IG Punjab Usman Anwar noted that, with the collaborative efforts of the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Rangers, and other agencies, the law and order situation was effectively managed, preventing further incidents.
