Islamabad: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi met with MQM Chairman Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and JUP Secretary General Owais Noorani in separate sessions to discuss the country’s political climate, religious harmony, and challenges to state institutions. The meetings underscored a collective need for unity and positive action amid Pakistan’s complex political and social landscape.
According to Press Information Department, the discussions with Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui focused heavily on the support for state institutions and the rejection of harmful propaganda. Minister Naqvi emphasized that undermining state institutions equates to betraying the nation. He firmly stated that efforts to destabilize Pakistan’s progress and prosperity through organized campaigns against state institutions would be thwarted.
In his conversation with Owais Noorani, Naqvi highlighted the Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan’s longstanding support for the country’s best interests. He stressed the importance of overcoming current challenges through unity and a forward-looking approach, suggesting that the nation’s difficulties should be transformed into opportunities for development.
