Interior Minister Honors Fallen Captain, Condemns India’s Role In Balochistan Terrorism


Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the family of Captain Muhammad Asif Shaheed in Uch Sharif, paying tribute to the soldier’s courage and sacrifice in battling terrorism. He met with the captain’s parents, siblings, and other relatives, offering condolences and prayers.



Naqvi lauded Captain Asif as a symbol of valor, emphasizing his bravery in confronting terrorists allegedly backed by India. The minister’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to recognizing the sacrifices of its security personnel.



Captain Asif died on August 12th during an operation against militants in Basima, Balochistan. The government has attributed the ongoing violence in the region to foreign interference, specifically pointing to India’s alleged support of terrorist groups.
