Islamabad, During a visit to the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) headquarters, Caretaker Interior Minister Dr. Gohar Ejaz lauded the organization’s significant role in enhancing Pakistan’s security and safety. Accompanied by the Director-General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Minister underscored the importance of identity documentation as a fundamental right of the citizens and emphasized the need for providing accessible facilities for the same.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Ejaz’s remarks underscore NADRA’s integral contribution to the country’s security apparatus, particularly in terms of verifying and safeguarding the identities of Pakistani citizens. The visit aimed to review and support the ongoing efforts to streamline and improve the services offered by NADRA, ensuring that citizens can easily obtain essential identity documents.
