Peshawar, September 15, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General of Police Mr. Akhtar Hayat Khan formally inaugurated the renovation of CTD Headquarters Building Peshawar and the newly established departments today.

According to the details, under the direction of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akhtar Hayat Khan, while organizing the CTD, it includes the addition of Central Intelligence Agency, Data Collection, Data Mining, Preliminary Forensic Laboratory and SWAT Team to increase its efficiency.

Additional IGP CTD Shaukat Abbas while briefing Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Khan, Home Secretary Abid Majeed Khan and other officers said that in total 14 desks have been established in the Central Intelligence Agency and in them each region has The staff assigned for this will take the intelligence information and prepare a report on it. Likewise, the staff of the data collection section will take the required information from different departments for different cases and send it to the data mining section.

Additionally, preliminary forensic laboratory is being set up for forensic testing of terrorism cases and SWAT team equipped with modern equipment and weapons is also being set up for anti-terror operations. Also reviewed.
