Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Moazzam Jah Ansari gives away trophies and cash prizes to the winner and runners up teams of IGP Police Under-19 Cricket Tournament in a ceremony held at CPO Peshawar, today

Peshawar, July 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):1. Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Moazzam Jah Ansari said that the officers and Jawans of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police had sacrificed their lives to protect the motherland during the war on terror. He said that the martyrs are source of inspiration for the younger generation.

2. He was addressing the prize distribution ceremony of IG Police Under-19 Cricket Tournament at head office of Shaheed Malik Saad Memorial Sports Trust. He further stated that all the martyred police officers and Jawans would always live in the hearts of the people of the country.

3. The IGP appreciated the services rendered by Malik Saad Memorial Sports Trust. He commended the role of the trust for the development sports by setting up sports academies throughout the province for the youngsters.

4. The IG Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also applauded the outstanding services of the trust in the fields of education and health. He pledged to play an active role as a co-chairman of the trust.

5. The administration of the trust briefed the IGP that the trust had set up 147 sports academies in 22 districts of the province. Athletes are provided free sports equipment and uniforms. Similarly, people are being served without any discrimination in the fields of education and health.

6. The co-chairman of the trust urged the organisers to increase the frequency of sports competitions in the remote areas of the province.
