Peshawar, September 20, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akhtar Hayat visited Kohat, Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akhtar Hayat Khan inaugurated Ababel Police Squad and Command and Control Center by cutting the ribbon. Regional Police Officer Kohat Sher Akbar Khan and District Police Officer Kohat Farhan Khan were accompanied by IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Akhtar Hayat Khan during the visit.
The purpose of establishment of Ababil Force is to provide relief to the citizens in terms of security, to reduce street crime, to destroy elements responsible for mischief, to be present in the people and to make the people feel safe.

Ababil Force will be able to offer its services better even in narrow and dark streets for effective prevention of street crimes and terrorist incidents. Later, Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Akhtar Hayat inspected various parts of the command and control center building and through the screen installed in the control center, the entry and exit check posts of district Kohat, various markets and educational institutions were installed. Inspected the CCTV cameras and issued instructions to the authorities to keep a special eye on the security of these places through cameras.
IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Akhtar Hayat Khan said that the main purpose of setting up the command and control center is to deal with street crime and other crimes, to solve vehicle theft in a timely manner and to ensure the security of police facilities with the use of modern technology and equipment. Apart from this, security monitoring of markets including monitoring of all sensitive places through CCTV cameras, crime detection, immediate response mechanism and direct monitoring of traffic management through Police Command and Control Center system.
