Islamabad, December 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):7th December, 2022: CDA Chairman Captain (Retd) Muhammad Usman Younis visited the three packages of Islamabad Highway on Wednesday and also made a detailed review of the progress made in the development works on this occasion, the officers of the relevant departments were also with him.
According to the details, Chairman CDA started his visit from PWD to T Chowk. While giving a briefing on this occasion, Chairman CDA was told that the work on the three packages of Islamabad highway is going on at a fast pace. They were further informed that a target period of 18 months was fixed for the completion of the project but the project will be completed before the stipulated time.
Chairman CDA directed the contractor, consultant and concerned departments to utilize all available resources to complete the project before the stipulated period. Moreover, Chairman CDA Captain (Retd) Muhammad Usman Yunus also visited covering bridge to PWD under Package Two and directed that the development works of the project should be completed as soon as possible. On this occasion, a complete briefing regarding the project was also given to Chairman CDA.
Apart from this, a detailed review of the progress of the development works on the side of the covering bridge under package three has been completed, the work of transoms has been completed, while the work of launching the grader will also be started soon. On this occasion, Chairman Capital Development Authority issued instructions and said that the grader launching work should be completed as soon as possible.
He further said that he will visit the project again and review the progress in detail. On this occasion, the Chairman Capital Development Authority Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman Yunus said that all available resources should be utilized to complete the project before the stipulated period so as to ensure all possible reduction in the hardships of the people.
