Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a Special Police Officer who was injured on April 1 near the Navyug Tunnel, also known as the Banihal Qazigund Road, has succumbed to his injuries.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, officials reported that a serious accident occurred on April 1 when an MG Hector vehicle skidded off the road near the Navyug Tunnel. The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left three others, including the Special Police Officer, injured.
On Saturday night, the injured officer, identified as Showkat Ahamd, succumbed to his injuries after battling for life for four days.
