Information Service Academy Hosts Independence Day Quiz to Celebrate Pakistan’s 78th Anniversary


Islamabad: The Information Service Academy (ISA), under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, conducted an Independence Day Quiz Show yesterday to kick off celebrations for Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day. The event showcased the collaborative efforts of the ISA and the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), featuring intense competition among students from Islamabad model colleges.



According to Press Information Department, the quiz involved twelve participants from intermediate level classes forming six teams, with an equal split between girls’ and boys’ teams. After a competitive qualifying round, three teams advanced to the finals, with the team from Islamabad Model College for Girls (Post Graduate) F-10/2 claiming the top spot. Trophies, cash prizes, and certificates were awarded to the winners in a ceremony presided over by Mr. Muhammad Arshad Munir, Executive Director General of ISA, who served as the Chief Guest.



Mr. Munir commended the knowledge displayed by the students regarding the Pakistan Movement and emphasized the importance of recognizing the sacrifices of the nation’s founders. He remarked on the crucial role of the youth in shaping the future of Pakistan and highlighted the importance of celebrating Independence Day with enthusiasm and respect for history.
