Information Minister Solangi Urges Journalists to Embrace Global Trends for Economic Security

Islamabad, Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, emphasized the necessity for journalists to adapt to the latest global trends in technology and media to secure their economic future. His remarks were made during a condolence reference held at the Press Information Department in Islamabad, in memory of the late journalist Pervaiz Shaukat.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Solangi highlighted the growing significance of digital media as the future of the industry. He stressed the need for establishing digital institutions equipped with advanced editorial systems and a specialized focus. The Minister pointed out that specialization in a particular field of journalism has led to the success and recognition of many journalists in the media landscape.

Furthermore, Minister Solangi paid homage to the late Journalist Pervaiz Shaukat for his contributions to the field over four decades. He acknowledged Shaukat’s relentless advocacy for the economic rights of journalists, including his efforts at various platforms such as the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Minister Solangi expressed sorrow over Shaukat’s passing and remarked that his services to journalism would always be remembered.
