Lahore: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar launched a scathing critique of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its leadership, accusing them of engaging in politics that disrupt national harmony and undermine the country’s institutions. During a news conference held in Lahore today, Tarar highlighted instances of what he described as detrimental activities by PTI, emphasizing the internal conflicts within the party that threaten its stability.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar specifically pointed out the divisive actions of PTI, alleging that its leadership has consistently spoken against national institutions and acted against Pakistan’s interests. He referenced an internal dispute involving Aleema Khan, sister of PTI’s founder, who reportedly accused Bushra Bibi of spreading misinformation. The minister used this example to illustrate the broader context of turmoil and disarray within PTI, which he claims is indicative of a party that fosters hatred and division rather than constructive political engagement.
