ISLAMABAD, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has reasserted Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s Right to Self-determination.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Minister conveyed that Pakistan has consistently championed the Palestinian cause. He clarified that Pakistan’s stance on the Palestine issue remains unaltered, emphasizing the necessity of the two-state solution for Israel’s existence. In his words, there can be no peace in the absence of justice. Reflecting the sentiment of unity, Solangi stated that the entire nation stands with the Palestinians. The members of the Upper House also voiced their unanimous support for the Palestinian people. Solangi firmly believes that the Palestinian voice cannot be suppressed. Several others, including Khalida Ateeb, Mehr Taj Roghani, Humayun Mohmand, and a host of additional members, expressed their deep concerns about the ongoing situation in Palestine. The Senate session is set to reconvene tomorrow at 10:30 am.
