Islamabad, 15 Oct 2023: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is currently spearheading the expansive aerial warfare exercise titled “Indus Shield 2023”, which involves the active participation of 14 nations. The PAF disclosed that the roster of participating countries includes Pakistan, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Egypt, Oman, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Morocco, Uzbekistan, China, and Hungary.
Exercise Indus Shield 2023 showcases an array of fighter jets, pilots, ground crew, and Air Defence Controllers from some of the world’s foremost Air Forces. Recognized as one of the region’s premier aerial warfare drills, this exercise underscores the PAF’s dedication to advancing its aerial proficiency while fostering international collaboration.
The exercise, further highlighting the collaborative spirit of the participating countries, aims to address the continually shifting terrain of aerial warfare and respond proactively to shared security threats.
